As one of the world’s leading tourism powers and an international benchmark in the tourism industry, a country where the sector is extremely important in terms of economic activity and employment, Spain needs to be clearly focused on the sustainable development path, fulfilling objectives that can promote the prosperity and security of both present and future generations.
SEGITTUR is very much aware of the fact that tourism needs to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Global Compact. SEGITTUR is working to contribute to these goals, and in this way achieve sustainable development in tourism.
