The Spanish Government has suspended the payment of interest and repayments related to loans granted by the Secretary of State for Tourism within the framework of R&D&I Emprendetur, Youth Entrepreneurs Emprendetur and Internationalisation Emprendetur programmes for one year.
This measure, approved by the Cabinet on 31 March 2020, aims to ensure the liquidity and therefore viability of tourism companies during the serious situation Spain is going through caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
