The chairman of SEGITTUR, Enrique Martínez Marín, has visited the facilities of Televes and seen first hand that the standards of the Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE) 178108:2017 “Smart Cities – Requirements in smart buildings for their consideration as an IoT hub in accordance with the Standard UNE 178104” and UNE 178504:2019 “Digital smart hotel (#HDIC) connected to smart destination/smart city platforms – Requirements and recommendations” can be implemented interoperably. Enabling technologies, such as semantic web technologies, play an essential role in these processes of interoperability.
The Televes Corporation actively participates in the technical committee on Smart Cities (CTN178) for the creation of standards that harmonise the action of an industry capable of transforming the social and economic fabrics and accelerating an effective ecological transition as established by the United Nations Agenda 2030.
